Omedetou Goizaimasu, gnustiy-san.
Sushi from Seow Yin. ~Oishi-ne~ The tiramisu weeks ago was also tantalizing. Wanna taste it? See you on 20th Oct 2007 at Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang (9am - 3pm), better come early and you might have chance to take a bite at the last piece. It is really delicious. (Raise 3 fingers, cut across the tougue and swear.) Support-lah.
Wishes and Totoro from Tai Lou, JC, Ah Teh, Ah Seong, Ah Eng, Leng Mui, Karen, Ah Tai and Ah Wing. I know what you guys wanna point out, my exterior resembles more and more like totoro... *sob ~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~ Dinner at Ferringhi Grill ~ Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Penang ~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~
~Grandeur~ Elegant dining place, splendid ambience with soft Jazz music. Immediately felt that my attire was inappropriate (especially my black Pallas sneakers). The staffs here are really friendly and they really pay attention to you.
Appetizer I: Tomato soup~100% fresh tomatoes. Slightly sourish but it warms the stomach and increases our appetite. *slurp
Appetizer II: Raspberry Ice - did not order this but somehow it was put on our table.
Catherine, our waitress for the evening cutting a slice of the roasted New Zealand beef.
Main Course: CM ordered the Queen's cut, medium well.
Main Course: I ordered the Roasted Lamb Cutlet. Appearance resembling the Racks of Lamb at Mansion 32, but the taste is entirely different.
Dessert: Somehow, this plate landed on our table out of nowhere when I waved to the waiter and said, " Bill, please." We waited long enough for the bill, then the hot towels came and then...
Okay, this was unexpected! The manager actually showed up with the cheese cake, lit the candle, sang a song at our table and asked me to make a wish. " I wish we don't have to pay for dinner!" and I blew out the candle.
But the bill still came and it burnt a big hole in my pocket, bigger than the one on the pants I wore to TGIF.
~The End~

She walked over to my cubicle... Silky black, shiny hair over her shoulder, slightly curly. She wore a blue jeans skirt, and clad under the blue jeans jacket, a pink blouse. But all that can't hide the curves. Looked straight into those sparkling eyes, as mesmerizing as the colourful glass marbles I played back in the little Jalan Kerisi during my childhood. My heart was thumping...Heck, of course my heart ia beating all this while, just that I could almost hear my heartbeat... "Well...what's up babe?" of course I am not dumb to say it out loud, are you nuts? "Ye...yess?" I murmured. Oh this is so not cool, stop fidgeting. "How can I not help you? Hehe...he" I added with a "not so cool" punchline, plus a grin as stiff the taut muscles of Mr Malaysia. I am so dead. With my eyes blinking. Can you believe me? At that moment, my soul sort of left my body and float to the ceiling, gazing back at me. I looked like a total idiot. I swallowed. My eyes moved down and stared blankly at her luscious lips...glossy as ever. Waiting for her utter. Clock's ticking. I felt the surrounding air freeze. Oh, just kill me. Please say something before I wet my pants...please. Alas, they departed and I saw the pearly whites. "Can I have your heart?" The most wonderful words I have ever heard in my entire life. The globe is spinning, bells are ringing. The words replayed umpteen times in my head in like...nanoseconds? This is the first time I would prefer "Yahoo!" instead of Google... C'mon, show me who's your daddy! Knock! Knock! "Can I have your HARD disk, please? I need to transfer some mega size files to...." Ta ma de.

It was the 5th day of CNY, back at work. Everyone is still in the holiday mood, the atmosphere in the office: relax and slow in pace:) Thought of catching a show after work. Somethimes, you just want to divert your mind from work for a while… Developed some pics at the Fujifilm booth in Harvey Norman at QB. We had been so enthusiastic about it for so many months and finally, we got to print out some of the memorable moments on the glossy papers.
Bought the tickets for 10.15pm Protégé. Almost every now and then when we are watching movies after work, either one of us will be dozing off half way thru. My case is more conspicuous, thanks to my thunder roaring snoring… And so we decided to freshen up at Coffee Bean. This was the first time I paid for something valued below RM10 using my credit card…hahaha.
After a cuppa at Coffee Bean, it was almost 10.00pm and we slowly dragged our weary souls up to GSC, pretty confident that this time, again, we are going to pass out even before the show started. And in fact, we were squabbling about selling our fares and heading back home while waiting for the “Now Seating” sign to light up. They announced that the show will be delayed by 5 minutes…Ok, that’s it…let’s end our misery; the soft pillows and the warm blanket were flying around my head. And it was then we realized that there is this shop selling Japanaese manga and we spotted the lately infamous “Death Note”. Not episode 1, not episode 2…. It’s a whole set of them. And we grabbed all 15 books with a bargain of RM60, saved RM7.50. We left the shop gloating with our purchase. Then we heard another announcement, “Now Shitting, Pro the Gay…now shitting, pro the gay…”
None of us slept thru out the show. It is breath-taking. (Notice the "Above 18 only" red mark on the tickets?)
Hongkie movies lately dwell around the battle of the wits between the police and the “hak se hui”, like in Infernal Affairs, where most often the undercover will come into picture and finally of course, the police will always win the glory by nailing down the kingpin of the ruthless criminal or the drug-lord or blah blah blah… The big bad guy will die a gruesome death, while the undercover sort of accomplishes his job but ripped off the glory and is left with a heart filled with emptiness and solitude… Well, the message this one attempts to broadcast is “Say NO to Dadah!” At least this is what I get out of the movie la…of course there are many more secreted contents in it, but I have tried my best… What to do, I am just a shallow guy, skin deep…hehe. One good movie that I would recommend to all, other than Blood Diamond. ~~~The End~~~

It's been over a month staying at my new place. The environment is good, cool and breezy. The only thing is that I have to park my car outside the compound and walk all the way in, climb 4 storeys and then try opening the stainless steel lock with one hand while the other is holding my water bottle with a bag slinging on my shoulder, panting. Wait till my sis move out...hehe.
It's pleasant to go home early after work. (When I say "early", it means before 8pm.) I don't mind the stroll, it's healthy. Have been sending my clothes to laundry, average cost is RM10 per week. So we calculated, RM10 x 52 weeks = RM520. Hmm, if we add another RM60 to it, we can get a fully auto Samsung washing machine, with fuzzy logic somemore. Ok, why not do it ourselves? And we tried washing the clothes the other day, plus the bedsheet. Well, the first 5 minutes was fun. I still think we need to get one washing machine, don't you think? Next would be the TV. ^_^
