On preserving the NEP: I think the government should stop undermining the Malays and by all means abolish the NEP. I don't think the Malays are any weaker or inferior than any other race. In fact, I have Malay friends who'd strived and become very successful in their lives, with their own effort. So, please don't poison their minds anymore, don't let them think that they need the "special" aid in order to survive or be successful in Malaysia. On recent Selangor state agencies public ticking off by Khir Toyo: Bravo, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo! Although many would view it as a demeaning act, but I think it is time to wake the slumberers. Sometimes, you just need to kick some arse. Government body, time to pull up your socks! On our Prime Ministers: ![]() Tunku Abdul Rahman - Father Of Independence ![]() Tun Abdul Razak - Father of Development ![]() Tun Hussein Onn - Father of Unity ![]() Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad - Father of Modernization ![]() Abdullah Badawi - Father of Corridors??? With all the corridors North-East-South-West all over Bolehland springing up like mushrooms after the rain like nobody's business. *Salute!

It's been a long time since I last open my sketch set... It's a birthday present during my 4th year in uni. "Have I lost the touch?" I thought. After 2 years of white-collar lifestyle, 9 to 5, driving through the same route every morning, what degree of damage can it do to my senses? Attempting to exploit my analytical skills and the rational to see things by straining my left brain... My once actively contributing intuitiveness and creativity sort of obscured by the invisible foliage of day to day business. Shrivelled. "Can the stiffen wrist of my left hand produce the same natural curves?" Yes, I am ambidextrous.
I am in doubt, if I am still that meticulous craftsman, which will accentuate every single details on the piece of chemically treated wood pulp...Or, if the rendering of shadows and light make any logical sense... To my chagrin, the feeling of the graphite leaving its trail on the course grain paper is ever so familiar and welcoming... I enjoy the serenity and the focus to translate the image on the glossy paper onto the 90lb weighted paper. All the dubiousnesses that overclouded my mind earlier unfold to unveil a shed of heavenly ray... "That will do, my friend. That, will do." smiling to myself.
Of course, not forgetting my spermatozoa-like signature.

Thanks to ML for her generosity. I got to test out on her Finepix S2 Pro over the weekend at the Botanic Garden... Got a feel of what a shutter bug would feel...hehe. Syiok sendiri. Waterfalls experiments with different shutter speed: Close up on the little rascals...and I mean really close. Some palms... Some macro shots... ~~~The End~~~

Went through some Adobe Photoshop tutorials and this is what I get... Original photo looks like this: 2 Tone Silhouette View:

Damn, now everybody can be Vincent Van Gogh!!! Some other attempts:
See if I can transform picture into canvas painting or pastel rendering using Photoshop next time...hehe. Think I will not be hand-sketching anything in near future.

Drew this back in 2001 using Papermate Kilometrico blue ball-point pen. Took me roughly 45 minutes, while enduring the long-winded TITAS lecture.

Sketching is all about lines and rendering...
